    ‘Being me’ is about the core of your personality. It’s about who you really are, it’s the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It’s about setting things aside to achieve your self-fulfilling goals. It’s about not wanting to compromise but doing exactly what you want. It’s about acceptance, about not willing to change anything about you.
    

    And sure, this sounds a little bit selfish. But maybe that’s not such a bad thing at all. I mean, we do see life trough our eyes do we not? Basically the song is about not being afraid to make a few sacrifices.
