Verse
How long has it been
Time keeps on flying
There’s a change in the wind
It’s hard to describe it
It’s so subtle and thin
And I wish I didn’t mind, but I do
The road that we shared
We sure didn’t mind
Just like a breeze in the air
We floated on time
And hoped our days would be fair
The only thing we ever wanted was to life like kings
Chorus
I’m scared just like you
And I’m bored to the bone
And this plan just might do
Cause life is just a little bit better when you don’t have to do it all on your own
Verse
So now that we’ve grown
Now that we’ve grown apart
We search for our own
How where we suppose to know
Just how the future would unfold
The only thing we ever wanted was to life like kings
They say friends will be friends
No matter how old they get
From the start until the end
And I don’t I will ever forget
It’s a story that’s worth telling
We learn to let go, learn to let go, learn to let go
Chorus
I’m scared just like you
And I’m bored to the bone
And this plan just might do
Cause life is just a little bit better when you don’t have to do it all on your own
Bridge
We all make mistakes until we’re gone, wouldn’t it be nice to have a friend of your own
Chorus
I’m scared
And I’m bored
And this plan
Cause life is just a little bit better when you don’t have to do it all on your own
We all make mistakes until we’re gone, wouldn’t it be nice to have a friend of your own.

So I’ve been lucky enough to have a ‘best friend’ in my life. Someone who truly knows me, and I truly know him. We grew up together, we lived together, had the same friends, we even traveled the world together.
But ever since I started making music, I found less and less time to spend with my buddy. As if my new passion pushed away my old ones. I used to surf, travel and work on the beach with him. And now I spend al my time in the studio, practicing, writing, and performing.
So I noticed that change, and I wrote a song about it.
